Octordle is a fun word-guessing game for everyone, especially those who have conquered both Dordle and Quordle. In each round, you will guess 8 words with up to 13 attempts. Each of the eight words is designed with its own grid. In many ways, Octordle is simply a multitasking version of Wordle with 8 grids per round. Eight grids will make up the difficulty for your entire experience. So let's find out the differences in Octordle!
In the game Octordle, each player will have 13 guesses to solve 8 target words. Follow the color clues on the letters and the keyboard to solve the puzzle according to the following rules:
- Gray: The letter is completely absent from the target word.
- Yellow: The letter is in the text but in the wrong place.
- Blue: The letter is in the word and in the right place.
To win the game, you must correctly guess all eight words (all letters are green). Try to collect hints to find the mystery word as quickly as possible. Good luck!
Octordle is very similar to Wordle, but it has a few differences. In each round, there will be eight hidden words to find, and for each word, there is a separate field of 13 lines. To obtain hints, you must first input your words. Type the first word of 4 or 5 letters (depending on your settings) and press the Enter button. The word will be entered into all 8 fields at once.
Now in all fields, the letters of the word will change color. They can have the same or different colors. With words appearing in unlike colors, it will be a big hint for players. Since the words are different, the clues will also be distinct.
"Green" indicates that the letter was correctly guessed. This letter is in the correct location. "Yellow" means this letter is in the hidden word but in another place. "Gray" means that such a letter is not in the word.
However, please note that, for added convenience, the buttons on the keyboard also change colors independently for each field and word. Keep typing words, get hints, and find all eight hidden words. To win, you must correctly guess all of the words.

Octordle always follows the classic Wordle rules, but you have to solve eight words at a time and you have 13 attempts to do it. Since there are eight hidden words, the color hints on the keyboard keys are divided into eight sections according to the face of the game. This game has gained popularity because it is much more difficult and interesting than the classic version.
At the beginning of the game, try to use a word that does not repeat letters and has as many vowels as possible, such as the word "radio." However, according to mathematician Grant Sanderson, the best starting word is "crane" or "sloth," which includes commonly used letters.
Of course, you can easily change the game dictionary in the settings in the top left corner. Currently, Octordle is available in US English, UK English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Swedish, Irish, Czech, Greek, Turkish, United States, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
You can enable daily mode in the game settings and solve the same words every day with your friends. The string of words changes every 24 hours.
You can easily change the number of letters in the target words. Select the proper figure for the number of letters in the game settings. Now the game has 4 to 6 letters available.
